Pros: - Staff. Very helpful at the reception and helped with booking nearby attractions. The room cleaning was very good and the staff helped with moving the heavy suitcases. - Room was very pleasant and include a private balcony with a bathtub, drying rack and beautiful view. Bathroom was very modern and the bed was comfortable. - Amenities were nice including free paddle boarding and kayaking during high-tide. It is nice as the beach is not very busy. - Value. For the price, the resort is amazing. There is also very affordable food at the restaurant adjacent. If you are on a very tight budget you can order food via grab delivery. Cons: - The sink only had one tap with no hot water. This is unpleasant for shaving. - Hand soap has a very very strong banana scent. Perhaps due to the name 'blu monkey' however it was a little unpleasant. - The resort is very far away from everything else of the island. It is far from the airport and other tourist attractions, leading to longer travel times and more expensive transport. We also had difficulty getting transportation to/from the resort as grab, indrive and bolt were unreliable however this may be attributable to the islands taxi-mafia and not the fault of the resort.

We love this hotel! We had a seaview villa with a kitchenette and a bathtub on the balcony. It was very clean and relaxing. The rooms look exactly like the photos! This is our favourite hotel of the trip. Love the restaurant and the kids' playground. Also agree that the front desk staff have a bit of an attitude that can be adjusted. The mangroves and beach at night is very beautiful. Yes the location is far away so if you want to part of the action, this is not for you. But if you want relaxing and scenic, this is it. We regret not staying here for more nights!

Great place to chill far from noisy tourists traps. There are so many birds around singing joyfully. Perfect for few nights. Sea is not the best for swimming, but there are some things to do: grab a taxi to visit monkey hill or old town Phuket with good restaurants (give a chance to Blue Elephant, you will probably enjoy it). Breakfasts simple but nice. If you want to eat in a restaurant next to the hotel and you are not a huge fan of super hot Thai dishes, ask kindly (better several times) “not spicy, please”. Even this won’t guarantee that the dish is not spicy ☺️ For kids hotel provide nice beds for additional cost. Rooms are fresh and new.

I really wish I could give this place 5 stars. The room was nice, clean, and comfy. The front desk staff has a bit of attitude when I asked her questions simply because I wanted clarification on things. My room service food padkapow was the best I ever had. Food came fast too. I didn’t get a chance to paddle board or kayak since the tide was super low. But the property itself is nice. If I was to come back, it would be just for the restaurant not to stay.

Great resort, super clean rooms, good building quality, you can enjoy the singing birds and lush greenery. Staff is super friendly, we had a little issue with hot water in our room and they immediately sent a mechanic to find and fix the issue. Location is so peaceful, will definitely come back here again!

The manager looked bothered to get us our key & show us the room I felt unwelcome. |To get to the room with the view, we had to hike up several flights of stairs.|No room service before 10 am to have coffee delivered. So, no coffee …

We had a very large room with an amazing view. The room is starting to show its age. As is the resort itself. Though, it looked like some renovations are coming. Location is out of the way of many things. With a scooter, you’re 5-10min away from most places. Phuket town has a lot to offer. Beaches are pretty far though. The beach on location isn’t really swimmable. It is very quiet, and peaceful due to its location. Many birds, which is a bonus. Wifi was not great. Breakfast was satisfactory. There is a bar and cafe that are open to the public, so will have non guest roaming around. Not a deal breaker, but just be aware. Had live music one of the nights we stayed which was cool. Overall a nice experience.
